The Department of Tafsir and Quranic Sciences Holds a Special Scholarly Discussion Circle for the Scientific Promotion

The Department of Tafsir and Quranic Sciences organized a scientific discussion circle dedicated to examining the scientific promotion dossier of the researcher, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Ali Abdul, from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Arabic Language. The event took place on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, in the Imam Abu Hanifa al-Nu’man Hall (may God have mercy on him).

The circle featured an extensive discussion of the research works submitted by the researcher. The department’s scientific committee conducted a precise and comprehensive study of these works, accompanied by a rigorous scholarly dialogue and in-depth academic debates that reflected the distinguished scientific level of the presented research output.

The session was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Ahmed Obaid Jassim, and the esteemed Administrative Assistant, in addition to Professor Dr. Mohammed Salman Mahmoud, representing the Chair of the Higher Scientific Promotions Committee, and Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Ayyash Abdul, Head of Scientific Promotions at the Faculty, as well as the heads and members of the department’s scientific committee.
