Vision of the Department of Hadith and its Sciences: To activate the role of the Prophet's Hadith and its various sciences so that it assumes its rightful place among the sciences as the second primary source of Islamic legislation. Furthermore, to be a pioneer in establishing the values of moderation, goodness, and truth, and in promoting a humanistic culture that appreciates the deep epistemic dimensions of the Prophet's Hadith sciences and the Purified Sunnah (Prophetic tradition). Mission of the Department of Hadith and its Sciences: To prepare specialists in the Purified Prophetic Sunnah and the methodologies of its scholars (Muhadditheen); to highlight the Islamic identity in thought and behavior, and to reinforce authentic Islamic values and ethics. This is achieved by relying on the sciences of Hadith, keeping pace with scientific and civilizational development, advancing the level of specialized scientific research, and establishing the practical Islamic Prophetic educational methodology to strengthen the bonds of society. The department also works to support religious, academic, and educational institutions within the general frameworks for ensuring quality and specialized academic accreditation. The objectives of the Department of Hadith are focused on achieving its vision and mission through the following points: 1- Preparation of Specialists: Preparing specialists in Hadith, its sciences, and the methodologies of the Muhadditheen who are aware of the diverse dimensions of the Noble Sunnah and qualified for research, guidance, teaching Hadith in all its arts, Islamic education, and various Sharia subjects. 2- Preparation of Researchers: Preparing researchers in Hadith studies to preserve its rich heritage and highlight its landmarks in a manner that shows the bright image of Islam and Muslims, and to raise awareness and guide people to Islam and its tolerant teachings. 3- Encouraging Innovation and Development: Encouraging innovation, creativity, and keeping pace with development by using modern educational and pedagogical methods that align with the Islamic educational methodology, and working diligently to enter various reputable international academic rankings. 4- Supporting Postgraduate Studies: Providing postgraduate studies in the fields of understanding the Sunnah, the intended meaning of the Purified Prophetic speech, and the methodologies of its scholars, with high-caliber teaching staff for university teaching and offering practical scientific consultations to enhance the academic standard. 5- Pursuit of Doctoral Program: Striving to complete the requirements for opening a PhD program in the Hadith department, as the department has already taken the step of graduating two batches of Master's students. 6- Enhancing Educational and Advocacy Curricula: Strengthening the educational and advocacy curricula contained within the Prophetic Sunnah to safeguard society from deviation and promote Islamic and social values and virtues. 7- Combating Extremism: Combating fanaticism (ghuluw), extremism (tatarruf), intolerance, and detestable sectarianism, and contributing to the reform of society and solving its problems by disseminating the moderate middle-path thought followed by the Noble Companions and the Prophet's Pure Household, through understanding the Noble Prophetic Hadith and grasping the objectives it advocates.
